Engineered from high-temperature braided glass and coated with 100% iron oxide silicone rubber, this sleeve delivers reliable thermal protection and durability for fuel, transmission, brake lines, wiring and more. Temperature rating: Continuous protection up to 500°F; resists intermittent heat up to 2000°F Construction: Braided glass sleeve heavily coated with iron oxide silicone for superior heat and abrasion resistance Included: 16" length of black self-adhering Fire Tape to seal ends or join sleeves for a clean, professional finish Size: 3/8" (0.375") diameter x 36" length Applications: Insulates and bundles fuel, oil, brake and transmission lines, heater hoses, electrical wiring and braided lines DEI Fire Sleeve is simple to install and offers a snug fit with a small stretch allowance (1/16–1/8") to accommodate fittings.
