DEI Floor & Tunnel Shield II High Heat Barrier Insulation Panel DEI Floor & Tunnel Shield II is a lightweight, high-temperature insulation panel engineered to block and reflect extreme heat away from interiors, electronics, fuel cells and painted body parts. Ideal for firewalls, transmission tunnels, floorboards and tight-clearance areas. High heat resistance: Withstands temperatures up to 1750°F thanks to a 10 mil embossed aluminum face bonded to a 1/8" composite glass-fiber core. Thin & formable: Only 3/16" thick — easily trimmed and shaped for custom installations in confined spaces. Multifunctional: Reflects heat, resists track/road debris and adds sound deadening for a more comfortable interior. Durable finish: Modern dimpled aluminum surface improves reflection, rigidity and installation ease (aluminum side must face the heat source). Versatile adhesion: This version does not include adhesive backing and can be mechanically fastened or bonded to metal, aluminum, carbon fiber, plastic and more. Important: Do not apply directly to exhaust components.
