Race Springs are forged from special lightweight (hf) 54SiCr6 spring steel, delivering exceptional strength with reduced mass. Lightweight, high tensile — on average 15% lighter than comparable springs while providing 10% more travel for a given rate. Thin-wire construction enabled by ultra-high tensile alloy for faster response and reduced unsprung weight. Pre-blocked at the factory to prevent settling or sagging under harsh, repeated loads. Tender springs use trapezoidal (flat) wire and low block height for maximum travel in demanding race environments. Wide range — main springs available in lengths from 6" to 18" and an extensive selection of spring rates for precise corner balancing and setup.
